Elena Sarkissian joined CORE in 2005. She possesses a keen knowledge of market trades from new development condos to resale coops all over the city. Her analytical mind, fluid communication skills, and thorough attention to detail have all assisted her in creating a seamless delivery of service. Whether working with first-time relocation buyers or empty-nesters looking for an investment pied-a-terre, Elena aims to make the real estate "adventure" a pleasurable experience by confidently providing due diligence for intelligent consumers to make the most knowledgeable investment.

Prior to joining CORE, Elena was a successful broker with one of the top-selling groups at Manhattan’s largest real estate brokerage. Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Elena is an accomplished academic who holds four degrees from the University of Michigan Honors College, the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, and Boston University School of Medicine. She is a cancer epidemiologist who worked with solid tumor oncology patients on clinical trials in the hospitals of Chicago. Once in NYC, Elena transitioned to health care consulting, only to find herself drawn to her family pre-occupation with real estate investing. With her health care background and her outgoing yet diplomatic nature, Elena possesses a natural affinity for developing a rapport with people from all walks of life.

Elena has truly embraced the Manhattan way of life with an avid network of friends and associates in various spheres of influence. She sits on the junior committees of several charities in the city including the New York Junior League and the Cancer Research Institute. Through the American Cancer Society, she lectures on cancer prevention to underserved women throughout the city. She is also on the Board of Directors of Doing Art Together, a subcommittee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which provides art education to underserved public schools in the five boroughs of New York. Last year she co-chaired the 20th Annual Gala fundraiser, which was the most successful fundraiser to date. She has traveled extensively and is fluent in French and Greek.
